Bevan View, Folley Lane, Warrington
Details: 17 two-bed apartments in three buildings
Project Value: £1m
Completion Date: May 2006
Developer: MDA Construction
Situated to the North West of Warrington town centre, this difficult site of just
less than half an acre provides 17 two bedroom apartments covering between 600 and
680 sq ft over three separate blocks. The development also provides vehicular access,
parking, and hard and soft landscaped areas, secured with automated access control
for residents.
Each block is three storeys high with access to individual apartments via a communal
entrance hall and stairwell with natural lighting and galleried construction.
Internally, each apartment has a large, contemporary lounge/dining space with open
plan kitchen, en suite shower room to the master bedroom, and separate bathroom.
Canted projecting bay windows are used on ground and first floors, creating open
balconies for second floor apartments.
Externally, smooth red reconstructed Cheshire stone and corresponding brickwork
are interspersed with ivory render in small gables and Eternit weatherboard as an
infill material. Roofs are finished in Eternot Rivendale slates with large overhangs
at eaves and gables.
